Commercial Contract Manager
Ko mātou | About us
The Electricity Authority Te Mana Hiko is an independent Crown entity that regulates the electricity market. Our core focus is to ensure the electricity system and market deliver reliable electricity at lowest cost for consumers.
The electricity industry is changing rapidly. Electrification across transport and industry is accelerating as the cost of renewable generation continues to fall. This transition is transforming the power system. As the system evolves, regulatory settings must continue to adapt to support reliable lowest cost outcomes for consumers.
It’s an exciting time to join the Authority as we grow our capabilities, expand our reach, build a team ready to make a difference by driving through a bold, collaborative work programme to deliver reliable electricity at lowest cost for NZ consumers.

There are plenty of established processes to step into, and the contract will also be renegotiated over the next 18-24 months, which gives ample opportunity to build and shape this further.
We’re a collaborative, high-energy team where your ideas are valued, your work makes a difference, and no two days are the same.
